The national committees of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) in Spain and Portugal are jointly hosting the Ibero-American Conference on Electric Infrastructures and Avifauna on the 21st of September. This event will feature experts from Spain and Portugal who will present and discuss the latest technical advancements aimed at preventing and mitigating bird mortality in electrical power lines. They will also address the current state of the issue and propose global solutions and strategies to make electrical networks as safe as possible for wildlife.
The conference will take place at the ICAI Conference Hall (P. Pérez del Pulgar Classroom), Pontifical Comillas University, located at 25 Alberto Aguilera, 28015 Madrid. Attendance is free, but registration is required, and seating is limited.
