The UNIA-UICN Chair of Nature Conservation has programmed this course, in classroom and online mode, to respond to the demand for specialised training related to the regulatory and environmental requirements of construction and maintenance projects for electricity distribution and transmission infrastructure. To address these contents, there will be two theoretical sessions (30 November and 1 December) of 4 hours each, as well as two practical sessions (only in the classroom mode), the first focused on forensic analysis and treatment of bird carcasses, and another practical workshop in the field (2 December) in which power lines will be analysed to see and identify preventative and corrective measures, as well as their effectiveness. The course, taught in Spanish, is aimed at students and professionals of industrial engineering, vocational training students, students of degrees related to the installation of power lines, students of biology, environmental sciences, masters in nature conservation, students of engineering related to the natural environment (forestry, agronomists, etc.), and in general any professional potentially related to technical and environmental aspects of power lines or nature conservation. The deadline for enrolment is 27 November 2023. Places are limited. More information at:
